My Chat with Reid *mmmm*

Hello and welcome!

I finally got to chat with him… YAY… the one I fell in love not long ago when reading the newest instalment in this awesome series. But keep reading and find out who he is 😉

What is your full name?
Reid Jackson

Do you have a nickname?
I’ve been called a lot of things, but that probably doesn’t count.

What is one word best describes you?
Private. My buddy Troy’s wife would say ‘solitary’, but Shayla is determined to fix me up.

Describe what you are wearing now to our readers.
Jeans and an old sweatshirt. It’s the middle of the night and I’m awake, watching a bad horror movie. I think I’ve seen this one…

Do you think the author portrayed you accurately?
She thinks she did and Cassie thinks she did, but a guy has to have some secrets. If she missed anything, I’m not telling.

What makes you laugh out loud?
A woman who says what she’s thinking, even if it’s not socially acceptable. I like that.

What is your favourite dessert?
Anything Cassie Wilson is serving. I don’t have much of a sweet tooth but I can’t get enough of her.

What is your favourite drink?
Water.

What is your greatest fear?
I don’t have one anymore. The worst has already happened and I survived. I wasn’t really living, though, not until Cassie came back to town and shook me up.

What is your favourite colour?
Black. I especially like black leather boots, when the woman wearing them is gorgeous …. and she knows it.
Oh yeah, I think I know what you are referring to 😀 Cassie was wearing leather boots when we were chatting a while ago… smoking hot.

What do you wear when you go to sleep?
Nothing.

What is the perfect romantic date?
Delivering Pappy’s fried chicken to a woman who’s reluctantly babysitting – and who guarantees to make it worth your while. I could have stayed there all night long.

How ticklish are you? Where are you ticklish?
I’ll never tell.

What’s your favourite smell? What does it remind you of?
Dill pickle brine. It reminds me of the day Cassie walked back into my life.
I remember, I was laughing at the young lad and feeling sorry for him at the same time.

When you look at a woman what catches your interest?
Her confidence. She doesn’t have to be classically beautiful: she just needs to believe in herself and I’m hooked.

Do you have somebody in your life now?
Yes. Cassie and I are getting married next week.

What is one word best describes her?
Courageous. I always thought she was confident, lucky and gorgeous, but now that I know her secret, I realize she’s a lioness. She can roar for more from me anytime she wants…

Is your book part of a series? What does the future hold for the readers of the series?

Yes, Some Guys Have All the Luck is book #4 of the Flatiron Five series. Next up is a shorter story, Going to the Chapel, which includes Cassie and my wedding and more. After that will be Theo’s book, Bad Case of Loving You. I’m looking forward to knowing a bit more about him. He’s the most mysterious of the F5 partners to me.

Sten & Errisa … surprise!!!

Hello and welcome!

If you are following this blog for a while, you know that I get the most unexpected visits and they are usually from one of two places, the Elven Empire or Tantalus. Not that I am complaining, far from it, I really enjoy myself every time and I hope you do too.

Keep on reading to find out what happened earlier today.

I look up from my desk when a sudden cool wind distracts me from the edits I am working on and notice a man ushering a gorgeous looking woman through the doorway of my office. They are both wearing capes and have most of their faces hidden from view, but I can tell she is drop dead gorgeous, and he is enough to make a woman kill for possession. DAYUM the cape can’t hide his physique, but  I want to see more, much more.

Eniko? A deep voice enters my mind, telling me this is another alien from Tantalus, but there are no wings on these two.

I nod quietly and he smiles as he adds, I needed to make sure I had the right place and the right person.

The couple removes their capes and I can feel the drool collect in my mouth. I also catch the whimper that threatens to escape from my throat.

I am Sten, and this is my fiancée, Errisa he quickly introduces them both.

I can’t believe I am looking at these two. I happen to recognize them from one of the stories I read and I give a sigh of appreciation, along with a huge smile, as my mind thinks, how often does anyone get a chance to interview a merman and his mermaid Life Mate? I am talking about reality here, not one of those fake shows that you can tell have been formatted to suit the storyline.

Who sent you? Did they stick around long enough for me to thank them? Can I ask you questions? Hear your Siren voices? adding deep in my mind ‘jump your bones?’ I hope I am not rattling too much and you don’t read my mind, Boy, do I hope you aren’t reading my mind. I have never met a Siren before and I am suddenly feeling shaky.

Errisa immediately rushes to get some water for me as she hums a light song that I find soothing. It feels so good I can only wonder if she added something to the water. I turn to ask her, she smiles and speaks with a light melodic voice. I only took the impurities out of the water. You will feel better in a few moments, she assures me.

What can I do for you? I am game to offer you an assortment of services, I continue to speak without engaging my mind.

Sten grins, and I have a suspicion he has plucked the thought out of my mind where I considered a wish to jump his bones. I feel my face go up in flames and Errisa rushes to get more water, in hopes this might help my condition. Nope. But some ice might help to cool my cheeks. Sten only watches me with a grin on his face and chuckles. The cad!

I will be alright, I speak. I know it is a lie, but I have to do something, other than pretend to recover. Sten isn’t helping as he folds his arms across that incredible looking chest and continues to watch Errisa and I. What can I do for you?

We had hoped you could help us find a place where we can hide from Echoe and Vikor. They are hounding us to death. Sten explains.

I can’t help the nervous giggle that comes out of my mouth, as I remember Errisa’s sister and her husband’s actions. They still making your life interesting?

Something tells me you were told too much about what went on, who should we blame for that? Errisa asked.

I won’t tell, I replied, adding in my mind ‘Do your worst, I won’t rat out my friend.’

I see, I think we should make a little social call to our writer friend, Errisa suggested to Sten.

Perhaps she can help create a safe zone for the two of you. I add.

I can tell Sten is considering both ideas. In the meantime, I ask, Would you answer some questions? You are the first Sirens I’ve have met.

Sten frowns, as he wraps his cape back around his gorgeous body and then helps Errisa with hers. Then he comes close to forcing her out of the room. He stops, looks at me and comments, I am sure you are right, but we are leaving anyway. We have a writer to throttle… errr… I mean talk to.

Don’t hurt her, I call out. She hasn’t finished writing all the books pertaining to your series yet.

Sten stops and asks, This is important to you?

I reply, Probably to you too.

You do know she doesn’t deserve you, Sten declares.

I know, I can’t help but grin, But, she is stuck with me anyway.

As we are with her, Sten points out.

You won’t consider doing an interview? I can only hope and ask again.

Perhaps sometime in the future, Sten states, then escorts Errisa out of my office and they are gone.

In my mind I shout very loudly in hopes they hear me, That is totally unfair.

Well, there you have and I hope you enjoyed it. I did, despite leaving me frustrated. I know, I am greedy, I always want more… more information… more time… more… more… more … 😀

Sten and Errisa hail from the Tantalus series by M. A. Abraham, their novella, THE SIREN CONNECTION will be releasing on September 18, 2018. I hope you will join them and find out how bad Echo and Vikor are, they made me so mad at times, I wanted to smack them, how much interference they ran between Sten and Errisa.

The oceans of Tantalus are teaming with Aquarians, the dangerous, predatory mammals that feed off anything that lands in their territory. What is strange about them is that they are avoiding the part of the ocean, close to the shoreline where Trysuil is planning to build the city of learning for the future generations. His question is, why this area? What is keeping them at bay?

As the water is no place for a winged man, Kyllan turns to his friends, the Sirens. They will soon get to the bottom of this, but it will come at a cost to the Tantalarians. The Sirens take one look at Tantalus and the sight of all that water feels like home. The home they knew on Mars never called to them in the same way and they know it is time to move on.
