My Chat with Liessen … and … Eöl ???
Hello and welcome!
Today I have the playboy of the Elven Chronicles and I am so happy I feel giddy!!!
Read on to find out how it went…
My assistant walks into my office and she is blushing, profusely. What is that about? She leans against the door after closing it and fans her face as she grins sheepishly and announces.
King Liessen of the Dark Elven Kingdom has arrived.
She then gives a shaky sigh as her blush deepens and her earlier grin widens.
Okay. Right. This should be interesting, I have never seen that reaction before. Close, but not quite the same. What did he do? I doubt if I will get a straight answer from her, so I walk into the interview room to check it out for myself. I expect to see Liessen seated on one of the two wing chairs placed in the room earlier, but he isn’t there. So where is he? As I go to turn around, a deep husky voice breathes into my ear as I feel a solid body come up behind me. He places his hands over the curves of my shoulders and purrs his words.
You are enough to make an Elf drool, has anyone ever told you that before? I especially love that touch of green in your eyes.
I almost die on the spot, half of me needs to be scraped off the ceiling and the other half melts into a puddle at his feet. I turn quickly to face my guest and immediately grasp for control of all my senses. The part of me that was attached to the ceiling drips down to join the rest of me in the puddle on the floor. This is Liessen? Someone should attach a warning sign to this man.
I can’t stop my eyes from devouring the face and form of the Elf standing so close to me. He makes my heart race, although he isn’t Lothrariel. Then again, Loth would never wear a pair of leather pants that fit like that! I feel my face go up in flames and force my eyes up past a leather vest that outlines no less than eight abs and a chest that should, and probably is, outlawed in sixty-four countries. I look at his face and stifle a sigh of appreciation. I have never seen eyes so brilliantly green, or lips so full and inviting. His hair is so black it has tints of blue highlights in it as it falls in sheaths of silken splendor past his hips. He smiles and the world tilts.
I then hear someone else in the background as that Elf clears his throat. I turn to gaze into a set of silvery blue eyes that remind me of Gabriel’s. There has to be Eagle Claw blood in this Elf.
The name is Eöl and I thought I better tag along to remind the Empire’s Casanova that he has a Life Mate.
Eöl bows as he extends his hand to take mine and presses a light kiss on the back.
Liessen gives a sniff of disdain as he responds to the slight goad.
As if I could forget my Aredhel. I thought you could use a few pointers in how to charm a lady.
As Eöl releases my hand Liessen takes possession of it and places a kiss on the palm, one that sends goosebumps straight through me. It doesn’t have the same effect this time, as Eöl’s hair is close to the same shade as Loth’s and falls in sheaths to his waist, just as Loth’s does, and that body!!
That is one lickable chest. He blushes at the look in my eyes and does something to cover himself a little more. I have to admit his outfit isn’t near as formfitting as Liessen’s is. *sigh* The things I have to suffer through to deliver these interviews for my readers. *grin*
Please, have a seat. I invite both Elves to make themselves comfortable.
There are only two chairs Eöl notes.
I am sure Eniko wouldn’t mind sitting on my lap. Liessen purrs invitingly.
My eyes widen and Eöl pipes up. I don’t think the lady is THAT kind of woman, Liessen, down boy.
I almost choke at the hostile look Liessen tosses at Eöl, but it is time to get down to business.
I get my assistant to bring in another chair, I know she is just dying to take another look at my visitors.
What is your full name King Liessen?
I am Liessen Raven Wing, King of the Dark Elven Kingdom. Liessen answers proudly.
Do you have a nickname?
Nothing anyone can print or repeat in public. Eöl snickers.
Keep it up leaf brain. Liessen warns.
I try to ignore the banter going on around me as I carry on with my questions.
What word best describes you?
Depends who you ask. Liessen grins.
I look at Eöl, expecting an response from him and he just smiles and tosses a wink at me.
So do you think the author described you accurately?
I suppose so, though to be honest she didn’t catch me at the best of time. Liessen answers sheepishly.
Then again we would question whether she would want to catch you at all. Eöl adds.
Boys, boys, let’s not get carried away. I still have questions here and I don’t want blood on my furniture. What makes you laugh out loud?
Fantasies of Eöl being drawn and quartered? Liessen replies with a smirky grin at Eöl.
Not sure what Aredhel was telling me, but that wasn’t what she said, she says you tend to get very giggly when she tickles you, especially the bottoms of your feet. She says there are times you seem to be so ticklish all she has to do is look your way to send you into laughter. Eöl teased.
I have to ignore that one too.
What is your favourite dessert or drink?
Eöl is quick to place his hands on my ears as he speaks up.
I don’t think you are old enough to hear that answer. The stories people could tell about that Elf!!!
Liessen proudly smirks as he answers.
I love my sweets, and Eniko is so delectably sugar coated. As for your answer Eöl, you are just jealous, eat your heart out.
What is your greatest fear?
That the Demons will get their filthy hands on my Aredhel. Liessen admits with a fierce frown that tells me they better not try if they know what is good for them. I have a sudden urge to hide behind Eöl at the expression that crosses Liessen’s face. Something tells me I don’t want this Elf for an enemy.
What is your favourite colour?
Green. Deep, misty, green, the colour of Aredhel’s eyes just before…
Eöl interrupts Liessen. Remember, we have an audience here. They might not want to hear what you are about to say.
As if you have a clue what I am talking about. Liessen scoffs at Eöl.
How about telling us what you wear in bed? I break into their conversation as things look like they could get heated.
As little as possible. Liessen answers.
Eöl snickers as he adds. He doesn’t want anyone to know about the jammies with the bunny tail and booties.
I almost choke on the laugh that image threatens me with; I clear my throat before it escapes and carry on. I think it is best if I skip to the next question quickly.
What is your idea of the perfect romantic date?
A picnic with my Aredhel held by the light of a full moon. I would feed her strawberries dripped in cream and cherries in chocolate sauce held between my lips so I could lick hers clean after. Liessen purrs as his eyes grow dark and half lidded.
Eöl rolls his eyes as he comments. The lengths some men have to go for a simple kiss.
Works better than offering fencing lessons. Liessen answers with another wink and a grin.
What is your favorite smell and what does it remind you of?
Eöl wraps his hands around Liessen’s mouth as his eyes go round and he answers.
I don’t think we want to know. My lady, your ears would need cleaning.
I giggle as Liessen’s eyes twinkle and he winks again. Eöl might have a point.
When you look at a woman, what catches your interest?
Her eyes, there is always a message to be read in the eyes of a woman. Liessen replies.
Do you have a special person in your life?
My Aredhel, she is my Life Mate.
And what one word would you use to describe her?
Brave. Liessen replies with a grin of satisfaction.
She would have to be, to be your Life Mate. Eöl snickers.
Is your book part of a series, if so, where is it headed? I ask before things can escalate. I see that look in Liessen’s eyes. If Eöl wasn’t so good with his sword he would be a dead Elf, I think it is the only thing holding Liessen off at this point.
It is book six of the Elven Chronicles and will be followed shortly by book seven. We are about to get serious about kicking some Demon ass before foraging into the future and the lives of the younger generation. In the meantime I might introduce Eöl to some of my Elite Guardians so than can teach him what a woman likes as well as how to make one purr. Liessen replies smugly.
I already know what women like. Eöl defends himself.
Maybe in dreams, but in real life, you need to experience more than how to teach a girl how to hold a metal sword. There are other things she could hold that might appreciate the attention. Liessen replied with a smirk. He is sure I know what he is talking about.
Eöl blushes deeply, a very unbecoming puce, as Liessen holds up two fingers, meaning he just scored a two pointer. He then rises from his chair and comes to me, takes my hand and presses a kiss onto my knuckles. He looks deeply into my eyes while he purrs and I am ready to faint.
I do love women with that touch of green in their eyes. We have already been claimed by our Life Mates, otherwise we could have lit up the night. He gives a meaningful wink, then leaves. I am left staring at the door.
Eöl stands up, bows and follows him. At the door he turns around and looks at me for a few moments. His piercing silver-blue eyes don’t reveal anything. Wonder what was that about. Maybe I should have him for a chat soon… hmmm
And another highjacked chat LOL I am really enjoying myself with these Elves and I hope they will keep coming back. Still fanning my face… hope you enjoyed it as much as I did 😉 As I mentioned before, M. A. likes to spring surprises on me, but is all good, I love them. Eöl WAS a nice surprise 😉
Liessen is hailing from the upcoming KING’S DAUGHTER , book 6 in the awesome Elven Chronicles by the amazing M. A. Abraham.
The book will be released September 20th, 2014 and I promise you it is even better than the ones before, if that is possible. I love all the books in the series, they each hold a special place in my heart. I was fortunate to be along for the ride from beginning and I hope it will be a long journey because I am hungry for more. I call myself an ELFANATIC because I could live in the extraordinary world that the author created. For all you fans out there… there are a lot more interesting things in the future.
