I hadn’t even had a chance to get out of my vehicle when a couple of men walked up to the side of the car, and boy were they easy on the eyes. I haven’t seen bodies on men like these since I met Thorn. Bite me, but I couldn’t resist the temptation to check them out. Tall, dark, and handsome… triple check. Eyes you could get lost in… check. Shoulders like a linebacker… yup, and double yup. Abs you could use as a scrub board… and then some. Narrow hips, large hands… gotta love a man with large… hands.
“Lady Enikö?” A deep rumbling voice spoke from outside of the window. Did I dare roll down the window and talk to these men? They exuded danger from every pore.
I sigh, might as well, I take one more discerning look at them and my hands begin to itch. Ahem. Right. Talk, no touching.
Anyway, I have to get out of the car anyway, so I open the door and exit as I ask, “Who wants to know?”
Both men bow as they introduce themselves.
“I am Lyon.”
“And I am his brother, Dyon.”
“We hale from the story of ‘Blood Vows’ your friend is writing at the moment and have a few questions.”
“I am not sure I can help with those, M.A. hasn’t given me much insight into the story beyond saying she is past the middle of the book.”
“And she just threw me a curve, just when I felt I had reached my objective.” Lyon grumbles.
“Yes, she tends to do things like that.”
“Could you get her to make things a little easier on my brother?” Dyon asks.
“I don’t know if that is going to help,” I admit.
“I can make it worth your while,” Dyon suggests with a purr to his voice.
Thoughts of satin sheets and sweaty bodies run through my mind and I correct myself. Down girl, remember, Athïan. “Sorry,” (boy am I sorry, and in more ways than one). I am surrounded by too much testosterone. “I am already taken.”
Lyon snickers at Dyon and I get the impression he would stick his tongue out at his brother given the chance and the right place. To me he bows and speaks, “Well, at least consider helping me. Kayla has not been an easy person to win over, and I would like to keep her to myself, not allow others to steal her from me.”
He hands me an envelope, then they leave. I check out how they look walking away from me too. Dyon looks over his shoulder, and winks.
I open the envelope and … SQUEEEE

Lyon and Dyon hail from the WIP of M. A. Abraham and what I told the gorgeous men is true, she didn’t tell me much and my hands are itching to get my hands on the finished story. From what I read so far, I think it will be one to rival ‘Aura’, which you might know it is my fave from the author’s standalone stories.

Kayllan
The young Prince who became King at an early age. Unknown to anyone, he made a pact with his best friend, a blood vow not even death could break.
Kayla
Born twice royal, she will become Queen, trained to rule a nation, also to become some man’s wife. She never expected to make promises to a dying brother. She would do as he decreed, and do so proudly, but she didn’t know the full extent of it all.
Lyon
First born in his lands, he rules as King, and he has vowed to protect Kayllan’s sister, to marry her and rule at her side if Kayllan dies early. He never expected her to be a beauty, she astounds him with her inner strength.
She knows nothing of his vow to her brother, but he vows she will, and then she will be his.
