As I make the final preparations for my trip to RTC in a few days, my thoughts turn to KaLiCon in October. I will be returning, as ‘bossy’ PA to Mary Ann (M. A. Abraham) I look forward to it, planning a few surprises for the Elven Games v2.0 😉

Andi Lawrencovna came up with this great idea and a few of the authors signing at KaLiCon 2019 joined her to make anthology, where each share a short story, giving the readers a chance to get to know their writing styles and the worlds they created. It will release August 1 and will be available FREE until the event starts. How awesome is that?
I invited their heroes, heroines for a chat and starting August 1, 2019 I will have them posted here for you to enjoy, one each day, give you a little more than the books and have fun while doing so.

I will be returning to RTC in Ottawa this August and I AM SO EXCITED squeeeee
Last time was in 2017, I went with M. A. Abraham as her ‘bossy Elven helper’ 😛
And the time before that, in 2015, when I attended my very first event of this kind, I remember it like yesterday, such great memories. I was high for months after that. To realize that there are other people beside me that are in love with books and read voraciously was a heady experience since very few of my friends read gasp I know, right?
I found my reading tribe on-line and I am grateful for them. They understand my ORD (obsessive reading disorder) 😉
So this year it will be the same place, same hotel from August 1 to August 3, 2019. Three days filled with fun, I saw the schedule and I am already making plans . See all the info at the event website. Eve Langlais is an awesome event planner and hostess and I am glad that she keeps making this event happen.
Some of my fave authors that I met before are attending: Deborah Cooke, Amy Ruttan, Freya Barker, Carey Decevito, Zoe York, Susan Hayes. Looking forward to meet Mandy M. Roth squeeee
The two main reasons I decided to attend this year were Michelle M. Pillow and Melissa Schroeder. I’ve been reading/listening to their books for years and they are on my authors-to-meet bucket list. I actually gave a big loud woop when I saw the announcements, I got the ticket right after. Found out recently that Ms. Pillow had to cancel, I almost cried, but I understand, life gets in the way sometimes. I hope is nothing serious and I will get the chance to meet her one day fingers crossed
Ms. Schroeder! Warning, you will be the one to get the big squeezy hugs, times two 😀 I will probably be stuttering and get red-faced, but that didn’t stop me before… I am an event veteran now, full blast fan-girling here HAHAHA
