I am excited to reveal the cover I created for book 2 of the Drakaina series. I hope you like it.
They are hunted from the moment of their birth, their parents, and all of the Drakes will fight to the death to protect them.
Sequestered on an island with the young girls, Nonnie teaches these Hidden Treasures.
They will grow powerful as they age, enough to challenge the world, and their mates, as they forge new paths into the future for their people.
For they are Drakaina, and they will survive.
If you read ‘Vengeance Has A Daughter‘, you know this book will be another exciting journey in the Drakaina’ lives’s world. Or maybe you listened to it? If you didn’t, what are you waiting for? Narrated by Jennifer Blom who did an amazing job.
I guess it is so much easier to create a cover when you read the story and I can tell you that it is a great read and loooove the ending. I can’t wait for the audiobook! There will be an audiobook, right Ms. Abraham?
I do not have a release date yet, but will make sure you are informed and maybe will get to chat with somebody from that world 😉

I hadn’t even had a chance to get out of my vehicle when a couple of men walked up to the side of the car, and boy were they easy on the eyes. I haven’t seen bodies on men like these since I met Thorn. Bite me, but I couldn’t resist the temptation to check them out. Tall, dark, and handsome… triple check. Eyes you could get lost in… check. Shoulders like a linebacker… yup, and double yup. Abs you could use as a scrub board… and then some. Narrow hips, large hands… gotta love a man with large… hands.
“Lady Enikö?” A deep rumbling voice spoke from outside of the window. Did I dare roll down the window and talk to these men? They exuded danger from every pore.
I sigh, might as well, I take one more discerning look at them and my hands begin to itch. Ahem. Right. Talk, no touching.
Anyway, I have to get out of the car anyway, so I open the door and exit as I ask, “Who wants to know?”
Both men bow as they introduce themselves.
“I am Lyon.”
“And I am his brother, Dyon.”
“We hale from the story of ‘Blood Vows’ your friend is writing at the moment and have a few questions.”
“I am not sure I can help with those, M.A. hasn’t given me much insight into the story beyond saying she is past the middle of the book.”
“And she just threw me a curve, just when I felt I had reached my objective.” Lyon grumbles.
“Yes, she tends to do things like that.”
“Could you get her to make things a little easier on my brother?” Dyon asks.
“I don’t know if that is going to help,” I admit.
“I can make it worth your while,” Dyon suggests with a purr to his voice.
Thoughts of satin sheets and sweaty bodies run through my mind and I correct myself. Down girl, remember, Athïan. “Sorry,” (boy am I sorry, and in more ways than one). I am surrounded by too much testosterone. “I am already taken.”
Lyon snickers at Dyon and I get the impression he would stick his tongue out at his brother given the chance and the right place. To me he bows and speaks, “Well, at least consider helping me. Kayla has not been an easy person to win over, and I would like to keep her to myself, not allow others to steal her from me.”
He hands me an envelope, then they leave. I check out how they look walking away from me too. Dyon looks over his shoulder, and winks.
I open the envelope and … SQUEEEE
If your thought was ‘DAYUM’, we think alike 😜 Those two would make a gal forget her name if she lets her guard down.
Lyon and Dyon hail from the WIP of M. A. Abraham and what I told the gorgeous men is true, she didn’t tell me much and my hands are itching to get my hands on the finished story. From what I read so far, I think it will be one to rival ‘Aura’, which you might know it is my fave from the author’s standalone stories.
I am happy to show you what Lyon handed to me. It is the cover of ‘Blood Vows’ and you see it here first.
Brother and sister, they made promises and would honor their dying father’s last wish. Kayllan The young Prince who became King at an early age. Unknown to anyone, he made a pact with his best friend, a blood vow not even death could break. Kayla Born twice royal, she will become Queen, trained to rule a nation, also to become some man’s wife. She never expected to make promises to a dying brother. She would do as he decreed, and do so proudly, but she didn’t know the full extent of it all. Lyon First born in his lands, he rules as King, and he has vowed to protect Kayllan’s sister, to marry her and rule at her side if Kayllan dies early. He never expected her to be a beauty, she astounds him with her inner strength. She knows nothing of his vow to her brother, but he vows she will, and then she will be his.
Isn’t it beautiful? Created by Cora Graphics, whose talents are known all over the world. I know it will fit the story well.

Comment if you would like to know more about the story, and I might have another post soon with an excerpt from the story 😉
Here is the cover for a story coming soon from one of my fave authors. I am looking forward to reading it.
They’d been sweethearts since grade school and by high school knew they were soulmates. Nothing would keep Alejandro Moreno from marrying Isabella as soon as she was of age. Making no bones about it, he made sure everyone in el pueblo who might get ideas about her, knew he’d set his very respectable claim on her.Until the unthinkable happens. How long do you wait for your soulmate? Months, years, forever? Or do you eventually move on?
Here is an excerpt from the book, where Isabella, the heroine, has just overheard a girl flirting with the hero, Alejandro. For years they’ve referred to each other as just friends because they’re too young for more but she’s silently always hoped/felt there was more to their friendship…
Despite the gesture and his sweet words, her head was back to what she’d been thinking before he handed her the candy. Trying to hide the jealousy she still felt over the possibility of him hanging out with Imelda at the dance that weekend Isabella glanced away when their eyes met.
As usual he picked up on her disquiet immediately because when she turned back to him, his eyes narrowed. “What’s wrong?”
“Nothing.” She lifted and dropped her shoulder.
The girl waiting on her esquites from Cido interrupted Isabella’s thoughts with her loud question. “How come I never see you guys at the rio parranda’s Saturday nights anymore?”
“Because those river hangouts are for middle school kids,” Cido said taking her money. “We’re preparatoria men now. We’ll be at the dance this Saturday instead.”
Isabella rolled her eyes. Ever since Cido and Alejandro started high school in the city he acted like he was all grown up. It’s why it was so hilarious when he made his dad mad and he was called a clueless mocoso in front of everyone.
Another group of kids walked up to the vending cart and ordered cobs from Alejandro. One of the guys in the group, Juan Carlos, a boy in Isabella’s class was immediately smiling when he saw her.
“Hey, Isabella. You going to the parranda this Saturday?” Alejandro noticeably slowed his slathering of butter on the cob and eyed Juan Carlos, but then went back to focusing on what he was doing.
Juan Carlos hadn’t lived in Pueblo De Oro long enough to know about her and Alejandro’s history. Taking advantage of this, Isabella smiled feeling evil. But it was a necessary evil.
“I might, since I’m not allowed to dance yet.”
Juan Carlos smiled even bigger. “I’ve only been to a couple since I moved here, and they’ve been cool. I looked for you both times.”
“Yeah, I haven’t been to any lately. But I have been before and you’re right, they are fun. I’ll try and make it out this weekend.”
“Good.” He smiled sheepishly. “Last two times I brought my guitara. I’ll bring it again and play for you.”
As Alejandro finished preparing Juan Carlos’s corn and then his friends, Isabella asked Juan Carlos more about his guitar playing. She knew Alejandro as well as he knew her, to instantly pick up on his change in demeanor during the conversation she continued to have with Juan Carlos. Even if he hadn’t said a word throughout.
Isabella made sure to lay it on thick and did a little extra giggling at anything even remotely silly Juan Carlos said. When Alejandro was done with their food, she realized she may’ve laid it on a little too thick because Juan Carlos was suddenly a little too confident.
“So, what are you doing now?”
“Um . . .” She glanced at Alejandro whose intense glare practically burned a hole through her, then she turned back to Juan Carlos. “Nothing. Just hanging out.”
“Come hang with me at the placita. We’re just—”
“She can’t,” Alejandro said making her heart spike.
Juan Carlos’s eyes narrowed in obvious confusion. He glanced at Alejandro, then Isabella and back at Alejandro again. “Why not?”
“Because she’s hanging out here,” he said simply then added. “With me.”
It took a moment for Juan Carlos to understand Alejandro’s attitude, but once he did, he nodded, even as his friend chuckled. Lifting his elote at Alejandro, he then tipped his bangora at Isabella but said nothing before walking away.
Alejandro eyed Juan Carlos then turned to Isabella. “I’ll be there with you at the parranda this weekend.”
Isabella did her best to hide the smile as her insides burst with excitement. “But I thought you’d be at the dance?”
“Is that where you want me to be, Isa? While you’re at the river listening to this guy play guitar for you?”
“No,” she said too quickly, then backpedaled. “I mean I heard you tell that girl you might be at the dance.”
“That was just me being polite with a customer. Why would I want to go to a dance without you?”
Feeling her heart flutter Isabella shrugged. “Well I thought because Cido said you two—”
“Cido,” he said openly and without bothering to lower his voice since their other best friend was busy flirting with three girls buying esquites. “Says a lot of shit, but you should know by now, he doesn’t speak for me. So, wherever you’re at Saturday night, I’ll be there right next to you.”
This time Isabella did smile. She was not about to argue. Not when she’d gotten exactly what she’d wanted. Confirmation that even as he’d gotten older and was now going to high school in the city with older girls, Alejandro was still one hundred percent feeling for her what she felt more profoundly for him with each passing day.
Release date is still TBA, but you can check back the author’s sites for news.

Here is the cover for a yummy coming January 12, 2021 from one of my fave authors.
Wanted: One roommate to share a 3-bedroom house, split the rent, and ideally not be the guy I can’t stop thinking about.
I’m a man with too many secrets, so the last thing I need is a new roommate with a sexy smile and blue eyes that see right through me. Eight years ago, Roderick left town after high school. We’re not friends. I owe him nothing. But back then, I let one of my secrets slip, and he’s the only one who noticed.
Part of me knows I should run far, far away. But the other part wants him to come upstairs and spend the night. But if I let him in, I could lose everything.
Seeking: a room to rent in town. I’m tidy, have no pets, and I will feed you homemade bread.
I should probably add: Gay AF, and has no filter. It’s no wonder my new landlord is so wary of me.
A smarter man would ignore those hot glances from the broody lumberjack. He may want more from me than another fresh-baked pretzel. But if I push my luck, I’ll end up back on the street.

I am so excited to share the cover of “An Elven Love Song“, a novella in the Guardians of the Empire series by M. A. Abraham.
Well after the Drazon Wars, in the Valley gifted to the humans that once rode at the side of the Elves…
Matrium, the only child of Segreth and Larieth of the Valley is a lonely Elven Princess despite the love of all the people surrounding her. She yearns for her Life Mate, although she is not aware of doing so, or of his existence.
Gaylon is a musician in the lands of his ancestors of the Elven Empire and he can feel the lure of his Life Mate. In his heart there is only love and a song, one he will only play to one. He rides to seek her out and win her heart.
With one glance the two lovers know they were meant to be. Yet, true to her Light Elven heritage, Matrium will fight the attraction, while Gaylon plays their song to guide her to his side.
This is their song.
It will be part of the paperback edition of The Priestess, book 3 of the GOTE series, expected to release on February 20, 2020.
Her fan group convinced M. A. Abraham to release it separately in ebook format and I am hoping it will happen in December. If you agree, comment below and let her know you want this short story to release at Christmas.
I had a lot of fun designing the cover, knowing the story helps immensely. When I met Matrium in the first book of the series, The Goddess, I knew I had to know more of her story and I begged MA to tell it. I hope you will love her story as much as I did.
Check out the rest of the books in the series.
THE GUARDIANS OF THE EMPIRE – 12-book series and whatever short stories I can manage to convince MA to write 😉
A sequel to the ‘Elven Chronicles’ and ‘One Empire’ series.
There are twelve Elves who have proven their worth over the Millennium. They have won the right to shift into Dragons, so they have become Guardians of the Elven Empire. They have won this honor through valor, might and compassion. They are prime Elves, the sons of Kings, but they have been alone for too long, without the hope of meeting their Life Mates. Because of this, they are beginning to lose their identities. They live their lives for duty, as they fly patrols around the borders of the boundary Emperor Lothrariel and his Kings created to keep the Empire safe. But, one day at a time, they are beginning to succumb to their Draconian half. It is time something was done to stop this, and their leader, King Gerolth, has set a plan in place to take care of this problem.
Somewhere in the Elven worlds there are Life Mates for these Guardians, and King Gerolth is determined that they will be found, before it is too late.
