Kaleidoscope Hearts – Volume 4
Around every corner and even right in front of you, love is spinning fabulous stories.
Take a walk on the wild side and revisit that friendship from childhood ready to grow into something new. Find that place where love comes in the form of a tiny blossom with a secret hidden inside the petals.
In this spinning collection of stories, every varied shade of love is explored, from that found in the twirl of a skirt on a ballroom floor, to a ghost whose love is in question, or as a side effect of the magic from a broken heart.
Best friends and bridesmaids, nurses and their exes, you can’t escape true love, even if it is only a wish in the heart, or a prayer on a dark wintry road.
As the old phrase goes: Love doesn’t cost a thing, or maybe it does, and sometimes that cost can be one of life and death, or perhaps even a supernatural “un-death” if the fates collide.
Sometimes, love is like looking in a mirror, or wishing you could go back and live that love over again, and in these pages, twelve amazing authors will take you on a journey that will leave you longing for more.
Fans of Lynsay Sands, Nicholas Sparks, Debbie Macomber, & Kresley Cole won’t want to miss this breathless collection of romance in all its swirling colors.
Take a romp through the flowers, or wind a path through the woods. Weave your way through these adventures that are at the heart of all it means to Love!
Maureen Winters confronts her childhood demons and finds healing through a magical
and wild child who was once her friend – Now that they are both grown…
MARY R. WOLDERING is an author, artisan, art historian, madwoman, visionary and devoted wife to Dr. Jackie F. Woldering, mother of Ruth and Thom and grandmother of five. She writes Visionary Fiction with a focus on Ancient Egyptian Mythology. What if the Gods and Goddesses of mythology were really just super-talented people full of very human passions and shortcomings? When they appeared in different legends, these various archetypes were like threads woven into the tapestry of various eras and cultures. Now, she has taken this idea and created her own tapestry of the divinely human and woven it through all time and space. Mary has been known to dabble in all genres of writing and has recently ventured into the area of Romantic Fiction.
Returning to her family home after a bitter breakup, Hedy Dulce’s new life holds more than she bargained for when she finds herself nearly naked on the floor in front of a strange man.
Born and raised in Toronto, KALI WILLOWS now resides in the exquisite eastern Ontario countryside where she enjoys the serenity of nature. When she isn’t busy being the married mother of two, or a Public Relations & Communications Specialist & Event Manager, she shadows worlds of paranormal passion & intrigue. Kali strives to create emotional, compelling stories and characters you can’t help but love, hate and cheer for. Captivated by her love of dragons, gargoyles and everything paranormal, she pens these delightful creatures into epic tales of romance and adventure and often infuses her passions of martial arts, music and ironic twists even she didn’t foresee. A good cup of tea with the crackling fire gets her creative juices flowing in the wee hours of the night, when the house is quiet and she can type away to her heart’s desire.
When your best friend is marrying someone else, hoping he’ll marry you instead only happens in fairy tales, right?
LINDA BOULANGER is an award-winning author of historical romance. While her books are mostly set in the Medieval era and Ancient Worlds, you’ll often find time travel, dragons, angels, fairies, and other mystical beings mixed into her stories. Having grown up in the magical land of Alaska, her imagination was her refuge when winter days got too cold or she needed to hide away from overly large mosquitos in the summer. It was during those days that the storyteller was born, though it would take many years, and several hat changes, before she realized the voices in her head were characters screaming for their stories to be written. When not traipsing into imaginary historical lands or designing book covers, Linda can be found spending time with her family in NE Oklahoma’s Green Country.
Driving home from her twelve hour shift in the ER, Hazel Thomas can not see a thing. That is until her ex, Trent Maxwell pulls up behind her. Will she ever escape the storm ranging from the weather or the one from her heart?
JENNIFER DANIELS lives in Upstate, NY with her husband and son. She enjoys spending time with her family, fishing, camping, kayaking, and being on the water. Jennifer is a former nurse and for several years was very active with her local volunteer fire and rescue department. She is a paranormal/fantasy junkie, loves to read most things in those genres and is a binge-watching Hallmark Channel fan. Writing was never on her radar until her son shared with her that he wanted to write a book. So, together they began and that was when Jennifer decided to give it a try on her own. And that was how the Opalla Series was born.
She saved his life, then stole his heart… too bad she has to die.
What started as therapy has turned into a full time passion for ALIYA DALRAE. The fictional town of Fallen Cross, Ohio, and its cast of characters, both human and paranormal, reside in her imagination, and she brings their stories of love, loss and redemption to life in her Jessica Sweet Trilogy, and The Fallen Cross Pack and Fallen Cross Legion Series.
A thirtieth birthday filled with dancing and surprises.
Editor and internationally known author, GRACE AUGUSTINE, was raised in Montana. Her hobbies include music, acrylic painting, container planting, and old romantic movies. She resides in Iowa and is the mother of two adult sons and an adorable feline.
Meeting her granddaughters fiancé for the first time was making her see double.
CATHERINE MARCUM is the alter ego of C.J. Baty Author. While C.J.’s writing brings male/male love to light, Catherine is about women over 50 who deserve a little romance, love, and sex in their lives. Go figure. C.J. writes about men with flaws who find love and happiness in the arms of other men with a little mystery added into the stories. She was shocked when Catherine started to make an appearance in her writing. The only thing they have in common is their love of the mountains, the belief that love is love, and the need to tell the stories in their heads. You can find both CJ and Catherine at her website
While paroling for feral supernatural beasts, Ele stumbles across Micah, a not-so-average human who is being hunted by an evil force.
ROCHELLE K. BRADLEY puts an artistic spin on everything she does but there are two things she fails at miserably: 1. Cooking (seriously, she can burn water) 2. Sewing (buttons immediately fall back off) She loves baking and makes a mean BTS (Better than Sex) cake. When in observation mode she is quiet, however, her mouth is usually open with an encouraging glass-is-half-full pun or, quite possibly, her foot. She is a Bearcat, a Buckeye, an interior decorator, and fluent in sarcasm. In 2008, when her youngest entered Kindergarten, she decided to get the stories out of her head. Midway through her first novel, hurricane Ike (yes, a hurricane in Ohio) rendered the laptop useless with a nine-day power outage. She didn’t give up but continued to pursue her dream. Every November Rochelle takes on the challenge of National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo.org) where she endeavors to write 50,000 words in thirty days. You can often hear her cheering the Dayton area Wrimos (those who join her in this crazy pursuit). Rochelle shares her home with a big black cat, an itty-bitty orange tiger kitty, her daughter, her son, and her Prince. She loves to connect with readers. You can find her on Facebook (search for Author Rochelle Bradley), Twitter, Pinterest, and Instagram. Happy reading and make sure you share the link with your friends so they can get lost in the many wonderful worlds the authors created. I know I will.
I already read one of them, a 5-star read, “The Decadent Legacies” by Kali Willows and I have to tell you she never disappoints. The story is short but I am invested, fell in love with Jesse and how he charms Hedy to fall for him. I am already bugging her for the next book as I want more of the Dulce sisters.
Until next time, happy reading / listening!
