Operation Ginger Avenger, book 24 in Divine Creek Ranch series

Hello and welcome!

I just finished the latest release, book 24 in the Divine Creek Ranch series by one of fave authors, Heather Rainier.

Operation Ginger Avenger

Jessica Bright came to Divine, Texas seeking refuge for her and her unborn child from the man who had held her captive. With time she’s overcome the trauma, but in her eyes she isn’t just a hot mess, she’s the hot mess.

Tank Drummond and Troy Burnett have watched patiently as Jessica has gotten her life on track—perhaps too patiently. When a bit of innocent online matchmaking help from Tank’s mother goes viral, they’re pushed into pursuing Jessica even though they risk scaring her off completely.

Enter one scary dude doing the bidding of her original captor from his permanent prison cell. Four Bits owes Trevor Dornan a big favor and he always pays his debts.

Right or wrong, the ladies of Divine and Lusty, Tank’s mother, and even little Bella take matters into their own hands and pull off an adventure that will go down in Divine history as…Operation Ginger Avenger.

My review

5 stars

You would think that after so many books based in the same town, mostly same characters with new ones added in every book, it would get tiresome, right? Well, I can tell you that even after finishing the 24th one, the just released, Operation Ginger Avenger, every story in the series is unique and entertaining.

Mixing suspense, some drama, the dreaded small town mindset over which the main characters eventually win over, LOL humour, twists and some ‘scorching-I-need-ice-water’ hot scenes makes this story a page turner.

My heart was breaking for Jess seeing how she struggled with her PTSD trying to stay strong for Belle, her little daughter, to overcome the brutality of her captivity. With help and encouragement from her men, Troy and Tank, she finally makes headways and allows herself to hope and be happy. Beloved Grandma Kate (from the Lusty, Texas series) made an appearance again, with a little help from her and the support of the women (and men) of Divine, the Jess, Troy and Tank can finally find their HEA. Despite the overprotectiveness of the men of Divine, the women are strong , independent and I love seeing the next generation is brought up to be the same. The scene where little Rose Marie brings down the ‘bad man’ with her rope is awesome, I cheered for her. The feel of the close knit circle of friends left me with a good mood. The nicknames they come up with are hilarious. The ending scene is so happy *sigh*

If you like HEA stories with soul that also have ménage relationships, I recommend this book and the series.

My Chat with Samson and Ivan

Hello and welcome!

Wait till you see who came for a chat 😀

Let me introduce to you the newest Divine hunks!

Samson Cutter, late 40s

Occupation: Emergency Services Dispatcher (911 operator). He served as an MP in the Army, and then as a police officer in Morehead, before being injured in the line of duty put him in the desk job. He’s also a Dominant at Hazelle House, an exclusive BDSM club in Morehead. He’s very popular among the masochists and submissives… now he just needs the right one to satisfy his darker cravings and lonely night.

Samson’s Favorites:

Food: Steak and baked potato, with a salad alongside it. Maybe. Ivan also makes a crawfish etouffee that he wouldn’t pass up.

Color: Red

Books: Classic sci-fi, like Ray Bradbury, Jules Verne,  Robert Heinlein, and also some Michael Crichton.

Movies: the classic sci-fi action movies like Terminator, Alien, Predator

Band: AC/DC – I don’t “get” a lot of the tunes Joseph plays on the sound system at Hazelle House and I’m usually so busy I tune them out anyway. I like classic rock.

Song: Back in Black

Quote: “Life is hard; it’s harder when you’re stupid” by John Wayne. There’s also a more recent favorite from my good friend, Bunny Carrigan: “It’s not gonna spank itself, Sir.” Yeah, I know it’s not necessarily original with her but that little redhead is a hoot, and she sure keeps my friend Joseph on his toes.

TV Show: M*A*S*H … Yeah, I’m old school, I know.

Holiday: Christmas

Sport: Football. Is there any other? And yeah, Dallas Cowboys rule! And Ivan can suck it.

Which Do You Prefer?

Pepsi or Coke: Coke …with bourbon

Boxers or Briefs: Boxer briefs or Commando … Why do people want to know this?

Angelina Jolie or Jennifer Aniston: Uh, Marilyn Monroe or Sophia Loren. Please.

Die Hard or Terminator: Terminator

Ford or Chevy: Chevy! Ford sucks! Ivan sucks more.

Steak or Chicken: Always steak. Rare.

Star Wars or Star Trek: Star Trek

Beer or Wine: Beer.

What is your most cherished possession? By this question I assume you mean inanimate objects. I try not to get too hung up on possessions but if pressed I’d have to say my impact toy collection, mainly whips that I’m especially fond of using, and my book collection.

How do you feel about being the center of attention? I don’t mind it. I like being in a leadership role which often means having eyes on me. At the club, I don’t generally notice, especially during scenes. My focus needs to remain on whoever I’m working with. I take that responsibility seriously.

What makes you blush? Compliments… and questions about what kind of underwear I prefer to wear.

What makes you laugh out loud? The stuff Bunny says to Joseph at Hazelle House just to see how he reacts, usually with a ball gag and a paddle… or orgasm torture if she’s especially naughty.

How do you feel, generally, about the opposite sex? Unworthy, and I mean that in the larger sense and not as a lack on my part. I grew up with loving parents and in general I love the fairer sex. I think they’re stronger than men in almost every way except for possibly the physical sense…but then I think of them giving birth and yeah, nope. They’re stronger all the way around.

What is your worst habit? Not going to the gym more. And maybe cussing.

Do you have any irrational fears or phobias? Heights really bug me.

How do you think your exes would describe you? Distant, maybe? I think in the back of my mind I was holding out because no one compared to Cassie.

How deeply does your job / social role define you as a person? To a high degree. I like being in a position of leadership and direction, whether it’s on the job or at the BDSM club. People rely on me and I enjoy that role.

What are you the most hopeless at? Small talk. I hate wasting time with chit-chat. I prefer action to talking.

What would you never do, no matter the price? Cheat in a committed relationship. In my line of work in both the military and as a police officer I’ve seen a lot of it, as well as the consequences and the collateral damage.

Ivan Cutter, late 40s

Occupation: Executive Chef at Hermione in Morehead, Texas. He had dreams of attending college on a football scholarship but those were dashed when he was injured his senior year. His knee injury also kept him from his Plan B which was to serve in the Army along with Samson so he went to school and became a chef. He worked for Texas’ most mercurial and demanding restaurateur, Hermione Jones, creating great meals, feeding lots of people, and enjoying life…and then a gorgeous brunette from his past came back into his life.

Ivan’s Favorites:

Food: Any kind of food if it’s well prepared. I have a special place in his heart for a good spicy shrimp/crab/craw fish boil eaten outdoors with an ice cold beer.

Color: Green and blue

Book: Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, and sci-fi fantasy graphic novels. Oh, and Shakespeare.

Movie: See above translated into movie form.

All-time Favorite Singer: Stevie Ray Vaughan and Double Trouble

Song: I love too many songs to have a favorite. Top three: “Pride and Joy” by Stevie Ray Vaughan; “Stuck On You” by Sugarland; and “When a Man Loves a Woman” by Percy Sledge.

Quote: “If you can’t stand the heat get out of the kitchen,” from Harry Truman,  and from Shakespeare, “When I saw you I fell in love, and you smiled because you knew.” I always thought that last one was pretty romantic.

TV Show: I work so many nights I don’t have any favorite television shows, although I was a big fan of “Dirty Jobs” and “Friends” which I can usually find late night on reruns somewhere on satellite.

Holiday: Christmas

Sport: Football. Oh, and the Dallas Cowboys SUCK!  cough So does Samson cough

Which Do You Prefer?

Pepsi or Coke: Cherry Coke with real cherries, not the bottled stuff.

Boxers or Briefs: Cotton knit briefs. Gotta be cotton because the kitchen gets hot and I wouldn’t want a heat rash, ya know.

Die Hard or Terminator: Die Hard, of course! “Yippee-Ki-Yay, Motherfucker!”

Ford or Chevy: Fords Rule! … I said that just to piss Samson off. cough Chevy’s suck! cough

Steak or Chicken: Either if it’s cooked right.

Star Wars or Star Trek: Star Wars

Beer or Wine: Wine

What is your most cherished possession? My knife collection and my cookbook collection.

How do you feel about being the center of attention? Love it!

What makes you blush? Nothing, honey. That’s just the heat from my Viking stove.

How do you feel, generally, about the opposite sex? Love them. LOVE THEM. Especially this gorgeous brunette I knew in high school. Man, she was an angel. Too bad she wound up with a total dickhead who didn’t deserve to kiss the soles of her feet.

What is your worst habit? I’m bad about forgetting to return calls. I tend to procrastinate. Oh, and I suck at parking.

Do you have any irrational fears or phobias? Clothes shopping.

How do you think your exes would describe you? Too committed to my career and the long hours restaurants keep. And when I’m not cooking I’m talking about cooking…or thinking about cooking.

How deeply does your job / social role define you as a person? Deeply. I want to feed everyone. It’s genetic. My mom is the same way.

What’s your favorite smell? Remember that brunette I mentioned earlier? She owns a coffee shop and bakery in Divine, and a friend of mine brought me one of her fancy cupcakes in a gift box. I opened that box and this heavenly aroma of vanilla bean, hazelnut, and some exotic spice… My mouth is watering just thinking about it. Now I associate that smell with my memories of her.

What are you the most hopeless at? Understanding women. I think I need a woman who likes to cook as much as I do and then we might understand each other.

What would you never do, no matter the price? Bungee jumping. And cheating in a relationship. Never gonna happen, either one.

Thank you Samson and Ivan for chatting with me. Really enjoyed it and I am looking forward to reading your story.

Thank you for joining me today and I hope you enjoyed the chat.

Cassie Villalobos promised Samson and Ivan Cutter on the day they graduated high school that she would pursue her dreams of becoming a singer-songwriter, no matter what.

Samson and Ivan left Divine after graduation, never intending to return, but they’ve never forgotten their love for Cassie.

Banked embers flare between the three at their thirty year class reunion. Although she has friends in ménages, Cassie is intimidated by the desire of two men, believing she is past her prime and the men set out to change her mind.

Samson’s passion for sadism is balanced by Ivan’s easy affection, and Cassie finds the combination irresistible. Hope flares for fulfilling all her dreams while stirring the distorted illusions of someone obsessed with controlling her.

“Whatever you do, Samson, don’t give her the steely-eyed dominant stare. And what are you? A nervous thirteen-year-old girl calling her BFF for pointers on how to act around the boy she likes?”

Samson had called Ivan while waiting for Joseph and Bunny’s wedding to get started to let him know Cassie was in attendance. Samson watched as the woman of their dreams entered the hallway outside the suite Bunny had been holed up in for the last two hours.

Samson scowled at his phone and then put it back to his ear. Chuckling silently, Jack Warner looked over at him and lifted his chin inquiringly at the phone. Samson shook his head and looked down at the floor. “Lower your voice, man. I just wanted you to know she was here. I guess she’s one of Bunny’s bridesmaids or attendants. I didn’t know they were that close. Shit.” He wasn’t smooth like his brother, and the first thing he’d thought when he’d laid eyes on her was to call Ivan.

“When you get a chance, just slide on up to her and start a conversation with her. Don’t give her the stare.”

“What stare?”

“The one you give people who you want to do your bidding. Probably the same one you use when you want to beat on one of your poor masochists.”

“They’re not my ‘poor masochists,’ fucker,” he ground out as he walked a short distance down the hallway. “I only give them what they need, and I would think you’d know that by now since you know how to use Google. I’m not a monster.” Jack snorted in amusement and Samson stepped farther down the hall.

Ivan’s chuckle on the other end made him grind his teeth. “No, you’re a big squeez-y teddy bear. You got all that growling out of your system now? Take a deep breath and…just smile at her. Offer to get her a glass of champagne. Dance with her. Don’t say anything about the past, and for fuck’s sake, don’t tell her you like to spank naughty girls.”

Samson grinned, imaging for a split second how her lush bare butt cheek would feel under his hand. “At least not yet.”

“Just never in front of me, okay?”

“She’s in a mansion housing a BDSM club, and she’s friends with several subs. I think they’ve talked. So it shouldn’t come as any big surprise to her. Fine, I won’t say anything about my sadistic tendencies, okay?”

“And I wouldn’t say anything about attending the class reunion. Just let her be surprised.”

“I wasn’t going to since you need to be with us before I say anything about…you know.”

“Right. So just establish you’re the nice guy she remembers and you’re still single. And try not to give her the impression she’s in your sights.”

“Our sights.”

“Whatever. I’m not getting my hopes up until I get a green light from her. I have to go. My ganache is thickening.”

Gazing at her delicious form from the rear, he admired the sensual sway of her hips and the graceful curve of her bare back and neck as she moved past a window. “That’s not the only thing thickening. Later.”

My Chat with Heather Rainier

Hello and welcome!

Today I have one of my top 10 authors whose books are on auto-buy for me. I had 3 of the Divine hunks from my fave book of the series for a chat back in June 2014.

Please welcome Heather Rainier!

Heather lives and writes in South Central Texas. Her stories offer up the content of her fantasies, with autobiographical humor, triumph and tragedy mixed in.

Heather’s love of romance fiction began as a teenager when her mom gave her copies of Kathleen Woodiwiss’s “The Flame and the Flower” and Bertrice Small’s “Skye O’Malley”. To this day she’s pretty sure that was her mom’s version of the “birds and the bees” talk.

Heather writes the type of novel she loves to read: more erotic and edgy than the mainstream, with plenty of sweet romance mixed in and a happily ever after guaranteed. Heather’s favorite type of hero is the gentle, lovable giant but readers will discover a wide variety of heroes and alphas on the pages of her novels, from nearly perfect to very flawed.

When not happily typing at her keyboard, Heather is usually busy corralling her kids, or loving on her smokin’ hot husband, who thankfully loves to cook.

Read on to find out more…

Do you have a nickname?
I grew up blessed with a name that couldn’t be easily changed into a nickname so taking on a pen name was a nickname of sorts. Only a select few know my pen name outside my immediate family so it’s become a nickname of sorts, usually when I act more like “Heather” than my mild-mannered “real-world” self would. This usually involves colorful storytelling, unladylike language, and maybe sangria.

What is one word that best describes you?
Introvert. I’m comfortable with my own company, so being able to write from home is a dream-come-true career. As long as Mr. Rainier takes me out for steak or seafood every so often, I’m happy. I’m sensitive to the energy and moods of other people, and when I am out, I’m naturally a people watcher. I think that’s the storyteller in me.

What makes you laugh out loud?
My husband makes me laugh out loud when he asks a question and my answer is a bit more “Heather” than my usual mild-mannered self. His reactions are priceless.

I also laugh out loud at our kids, who are mortified by our lovey-dovey-ness with each other. Our teenaged daughter is particularly nauseated by our rampant mutual affection, although I know she secretly aspires to have a relationship just like ours.

And our dogs, Eli and Cheyenne, also provide comic relief. Most of the time, they’re comatose on our back porch but then, on a moment’s notice, they’re off chasing dragonflies, birds, or…the air. Every once in a while they’ll come back with something awesome like a live guinea hen, a dead wild turkey, or bones of an unknown origin that they’ve found or dug up on the property. Or worse, they return from a losing battle with a skunk. Not good.

What is your favourite smell? What does it remind you of?
Because of their calming effect, I love the scent of several herbs, including rosemary, lavender, and spearmint. I’m also very partial to the scent of a brand new book.

Favourite place to spend time in?
Bed. I don’t think that needs any further explanation. Although I love being anywhere Mr. Rainier is. We’ve always been self-employed, so we’re that odd couple that spends a lot of time around each other and likes it that way. He’s my sounding board and I’m his.

At one point I was his receptionist and bookkeeper. One day I kissed him goodbye when he came in the office right as a UPS deliveryman arrived with a package. After I was gone, the driver told him that he had a pretty good thing going, having a secretary with side benefits. He said, “You have no idea.”

Is there a genre that you refuse to read?
As far as genres go, I tend to avoid thrillers and mysteries, since I’m too easily distracted from keeping all the clues and facts straight. As far as the romance sub-genres go, I’ll read paranormal, fantasy/sci-fi, contemporary, BDSM, MFM or MMF ménage. Because I’m a writer, I catch myself editing as I read, so I’m a stickler about well-written and well-edited books.

My deal breakers are main characters who cheat, barely-of-age main characters in ménage, and happy-for-now stories. I like commitments, weddings, and babies—hopefully in that order.

Writing! What started it?
Writing has always been my dream career, but I grew up in a time where it was nearly impossible to be published, and be successful enough at it to do it full time. After working numerous jobs and then coming home to be a mom, I desperately needed to the creative outlet. In my early forties I started reading romance novels again and wound up buying a Kindle because I’d discovered this thing called erotic romance. After reading many, finding a few favorite authors, and realizing digital publishing was recreating the playing field for hopeful authors, I tried my hand at writing an MFMM ménage, where the heroine is the center of attention for all the men and the men don’t play with each other. I wrote my first three stories and got VERY lucky in finding a publisher that specialized in what I wanted to write. That relationship has been a life-changing one for me.
So glad you did. I think many of your fans would agree with me that your books are wonderful and the heroines’ lives resonate with many of them, including me.

If you could choose another career what would it be?
I’m a very creative person, raised by creative parents. My mother was a painter, my father was a commercial photographer, and my stepmother was a graphic artist and folk artist. I grew up around people who had an “eye” for creating art in the same way authors have a “way” with words. I’ve always been a reader so the tendency was always there. If it hadn’t been writing, it probably would’ve been either photography or graphic art.

Audiobooks! Any plans to have more of your books in audio format?
Many people have told me they’ve enjoyed the audiobook of Margot’s Hunger. I’ve signed an agreement with my publisher for any book I write with them to be made available in audio format. Beyond that, I have no control over the process. The first step is for a narrator, or “potential novice” narrator to audition to read it with Audibles. I have no idea how that process works but I hope someone with a sexy Texan accent one day decides to bring Divine, Texas to audible life.

Does your work convey a specific emotion or message?
My first hope is that my stories convey commitment, love, and the idea that happily-ever-afters are not just fairy tales. I write to push readers to not just accept themselves but to also celebrate their uniqueness and that, until we’re in our graves, it’s never too late to seize the day. For some readers, I bring a message that maybe it’s time to raise their standards for the kind of treatment they will accept from a partner. My ultimate goal is to offer a temporary escape from reality that delivers erotic adventure, tenderness, and laughter.

Who is your intended audience and why should they read your books?
I grew up with the notion that men were visually stimulated creatures (porn) and women were more stimulated by the written word (romance novels) but I believe the lines are much more blurred. I’m one of those odd visually-stimulated ducks, so I’m not going to fault a man who prefers to read erotic romance. I don’t write to please a certain age range but I am definitely sensitive to the number of mature readers who own Kindles.

What is your favorite work-related activity when you’re not writing?
I love interacting on Facebook, through my timeline and fan page, and on my blog, the Divine Tease.

Ethan banner.jpg

Ethan Grant, one of the original heroes from Divine Grace, book one in the Divine Creek Ranch series, is also on Facebook and readers can look him up as well. He writes short stories based on pickup lines he hears at the Dancing Pony and shares them most every Sunday night on his timeline. Just look for the blue Dancing Pony Pickup Lines banner.

He’s been writing the pickup lines for a few years, and some of the original one-liners have been embellished with a bit more story and are now featured weekly as Slices of Life from the Dancing Pony on my blog, usually on Wednesdays.
I always look forward to reading his posts, they make my day.

What is next in your writing?
I have at least a few more Divine Creek Ranch stories to tell, but I am also planning another erotic romance series, most probably also ménage, but set in a fantasy/sci-fi-oriented world. The character development, eroticism, romance, and humor readers have come to expect will be in whatever this series develops into. I’m just feeling the need to throw off contemporary rules and experience a new, otherworldly realm. I haven’t ruled out any possibility yet.

Looking forward to read more of your books in the future. Thank you Heather for spending a little time in my corner of the blogging world.

Thank you for joining me here. Hope you enjoyed the chat.

My Chats with Justin, Val and Ransome

Hello and welcome!

I can’t tell you how giddy I am to share with you my chats with not one, but 3 Divine hunks SQUEEEEEE

I had to go to Divine, Texas and meet them separately because we could not work out a time that was good for all 3, but I think it worked fine, because I don’t know if I could have handled all the Divine hawtness in one shot.

Without further ado because I know you are curious, I give you…

Do you have somebody in your life now?
Yes. My beautiful wife, Charity. We also have two teenagers, Beau and Justine.

What one word best describes her?
One? Hell. Perfect.

Describe what you are wearing now to our readers.
Funny that you should ask that. There was a package waiting on the porch when I got home this afternoon. It contained the Viking costume I ordered for my next role-playing scene with Charity. I had to try it on before she gets home from work, so here I am… A chin strap on the horned helmet? Seriously? tears that crap off The leathers are nice and soft, though, especially since I have to go commando… gulp … he makes one fine Viking that’s for sure

What makes you laugh out loud?
My niece, Rose Marie Warner. Seriously. I’ve known my wife Charity since she was a pre-teen and that little diva is her all over again. Grace and her men have their hands full with “Little Miss Talk-To-The-Hand”.

What is your favourite dessert?
Charity makes this amazing apricot preserves cake. The first few bites get your taste buds doing that painful “yoing-yoing-yoing” thing but I can’t get enough of it.

What is your greatest fear?
Not being able to give Charity what she needs…and wants. Satisfying her is my first priority. Losing her would be my greatest fear.
I am thinking to ask him if he has a brother…

What do you wear when you go to sleep?
Seriously? Have you seen my wife? I sleep nude even in the dead of winter. We keep each other warm.

What is the perfect romantic date?
Dinner out at our favorite steakhouse, dressed in our riding leathers so we can take a sunset ride on my Harley, then stopping in at the Dancing Pony because Charity loves to dance.
Yes I heard about their famous dances, I would love to join the girls… maybe one day 😀

Is your book part of a series? What does the future hold for the readers of the series?
Yeah. Our book, Divine Charity, is book #19 in Heather Rainier’s Divine Creek Ranch Collection.
Readers periodically asked if Charity’s story would ever be told. Heather wasn’t sure for a long time but kept an open mind because if ever there was a woman with enough love in her heart for more than one man, it’s my Charity.
Readers are going to meet several new characters in the course of reading Divine Charity and their stories will be shared in subsequent books.

Thank you Justin for meeting on such a short notice and give my hugs to Charity. I love all of Divine women, but she is my fave.

And now I give you…

Do you have a nickname?
Val actually is a nickname. Will I tell you my full name? Nope. Only one person is allowed to use it.

Describe what you are wearing now to our readers.
I just got out of the shower. At the moment, I’m wearing knit boxers and a towel on my head.
And I need my big drool bib… he is so yummy.

Do you think the author portrayed you accurately?
Since I wouldn’t mind showing up in future books, I’ll say yeah, she did. She’s pretty intuitive about…stuff.

What is your greatest fear?
Losing the family relationships I have. I love my cousins and their families and it would kill me if something happened to them or if those ties were broken.

What do you wear when you go to sleep?
When I’m at home, I sleep completely nude. When Ransome and I are on the road, I wear boxers to protect his self-esteem.

What’s your favourite smell? What does it remind you of?
Vanilla on a woman’s skin. It’s an old memory from school. I had a Home Economics class with a girl I had a crush on. We got paired together in a cooking class and she accidentally spilled some vanilla flavoring and got it on her top. I practically hyperventilated any time I was around her for the rest of the day until she caught me sniffing her. I’m still in love with her today and any time I smell vanilla it takes me back.

Do you have somebody in your life now?
Sort of. Even though she isn’t mine in the romantic sense, let’s say she’s the only woman I want in my life.

What is one word that best describes her?
She still smells like vanilla sometimes.

What is your favourite colour?
Blue. The exact shade of her eyes.

Thank you Val for your time and I am looking forward to know more of your story.

And here is my chat with…

What one word best describes you?

Describe what you are wearing now to our readers.
I just came in from working on my bike. My oldest pair of holey jeans, which are now also grease-stained. I’m barefoot. No shirt.
I think he could wear a potato sack and he would still be eye candy, but I like the no-shirt view

What is your favourite drink?
On a hot day like this, beer that’s so cold it makes my teeth ache. That’s what I’m having right now.
he shivers as condensation drips onto his abs and my eyes are following the drops… I grab my beer and take a drink too

What is your greatest fear?
Never having a woman in my life to love for the long haul. I see what my cousin Justin has with Charity and…damn. Never mind. What’s the next question?

What do you wear when you go to sleep?
Nothing, when I’m at home. But to keep Val from feeling a little “less than” when we’re on the road together, I wear briefs.

How ticklish are you? Where are you ticklish?
Who fucking told you I was ticklish? Bet it was Val. Fine. My ribs and under my arms are very ticklish. Like, “poke me there and I won’t be responsible for your injuries” kind of ticklish.
I try to hide my grin… Nobody told me, it is one of my questions. He looks at me with an arched brow…

When you look at a woman what catches your interest?
Only one woman catches my interest anymore, and all she has to do is breathe.

Do you have somebody in your life now?
I’m curious how Val answered this question. Did you ask him? I guess my best answer is yes, she’s definitely a part of my life. I’d give my left nut to have her in my arms, too.

What one word best describes her?
Loyal. Caring. Compassionate. Beautiful. And taken.

Thank you Ransome for your time and I am looking forward to know your whole story.

And there you have it, now you know why I said that it worked best meeting them separately… phew… fanning face

I would like to thank Heather Rainier for arranging the meetings with the 3 hunks, hailing from Divine Charity the newest book in The Divine Creek Ranch series coming this Friday, June 20th, 2014. And I am so excited.

Book Blurb
Charity has adored Justin since he stole her heart twenty-two years ago and together they’ve built a steadfast love. She’d do anything for him, except ask for her deepest desire because the risk of hurting him is too great.
The day he claimed Charity’s heart, Justin swore he’d never share her love, but time has given him a new perspective. Despite her attempts to hide it, Justin knows Charity has always loved his cousins, Val and Ransome. Now older and wiser, he wants to give her the same fulfillment her sister Grace enjoys with the men she loves.
Seeing so many ménages in Divine gives Val and Ransome hope, and when fate offers them an opportunity they seize the chance for a future with Charity. When an innocent victim from their past adventures reaches out to them, they provide safe haven, not knowing that doing so will ultimately place the woman they love in danger.

I discovered the series just before Christmas 2013 and I am so glad I did, I loved every book in the series. If you read the series, you know what I mean, if you didn’t, I urge you to do so, 5 stars from me all the way.

Here is an excerpt from Divine Charity

Justin stroked Charity’s nipple with his tongue. Her breath caught and her nipple tightened to a beaded peak. “Unspeakably beautiful. I have no other words. I really meant it when I said I’d do anything for you.”
“I don’t know what to say,” she replied in a shaky voice as she stroked the back of his head.
“Where do you see life taking us as Beau goes off to college and Justine becomes a senior this fall?”
“What do you mean? Like traveling?”
“Sure. But if you could make changes in our life together, what would you want?”
A frown creased her brows and she shook her head. “I don’t want anything to change.”
He smoothed her hair from her glowing face and cupped her cheek in his hand. “Share your ultimate fantasy with me. If there were no limits, no constraints, nothing I wouldn’t do that you asked of me, what would you ask me for?”
She looked up at him, her heart in her eyes and said, “I’d want you, baby. Just you.”
To be the object of her desire was satisfying, but he knew there was a craving buried in her heart. One that she seemed intent on hiding no matter how often it surfaced. He doubted anyone else knew but he could read her face and her eyes. Determined, he pushed her. “I’m ready for a new role-playing scene with you. Something completely different.”
Heat flared in her blue eyes, along with excitement and need. “You are? Tell me.”
She shifted beneath him and he felt it when she went fluid and hot all around his cock. He smiled, knowing he had her. “Remember late Saturday night at last year’s ROT Rally?”
She bit her lip and nodded. “When we stayed overnight and partied with Dale and Natalie at their RV site?”
He grinned, almost able to hear the gears turning in her head. His dick tingled at the memory. “You and me, out by the pool, while our friends watched.” Most importantly, his cousins Val Teller and Ransome Cross had been there, too. Watching. Almost seeming to stand guard, as if that had been necessary.
She drew in a shaky breath and then looked up at him and giggled. In a wistful tone, she said, “Yeah. I remember…vividly.”
