My Chat with Leilah!

Hello and welcome!

I am so excited to reveal to you the chat I had with Leilah.

As I couldn’t get her to sit with the hunks present, as she refused to be in the same room with them, my chat with her is separate from The Three, as she calls the 3 men (at the moment) in her life.

Leilah Crowe is a Street Witch when I got to meet her at first, then as I read the story found that she is so much more.

I love your first name, Leilah. What is your full name?
Leilah Miriam Crowe

Do you have a nickname?
God, no.

What is one word best describes you?
Me? I guess that depends who you ask. My grandmother called me determined. Blade would probably say I’m tough. But if you ask Raith, he’ll likely say the one word that describes me is irresponsible.

Describe what you are wearing now to our readers.
Black bra, fishnet top, leather skirt and leather boots.
I do like those boots. Kick-ass indeed.

Do you think the author portrayed you accurately?
She did, which caught me off guard. Aside from my familiar Stony, I didn’t think anyone knew me so well.

What makes you laugh out loud?
Seeing my familiar Stony, who is a pig, take in Raith Vanderkoff. That was hilarious!

What is your favourite dessert?
Chocolate ice cream.
So is mine. Let’s have some now.

What is your favourite drink?
Tequila

What is your greatest fear?
I can’t talk about that. No one knows. Not even Stony.

What is your favourite colour?
Tanzanite.

What do you wear when you go to sleep?
Panties and a t-shirt.

What is the perfect romantic date?
A quiet night cuddling on the sofa and watching TV.

How ticklish are you? Where are you ticklish?
I am ticklish on my stomach and knees. But don’t tell!

What’s your favourite smell? What does it remind you of?
My favorite smell is cinnamon rolls baking. They remind me of Grams. Though it’s best I don’t think of her.

When you look at a man what catches your interest?
The way he moves.

Do you have somebody in your life now?
No—yes. Not exactly. There are three men. They have all…captured my attention. I call them The Three.

Three! Do tell! What is one word best describes them?
Blade is cunning, Ethan is ferocious, Raith is cruel.
Really? Hmmm… that is not how they appear to me, but then again, I do not know your whole history… yet.

Is your book part of a series? What does the future hold for the readers of the series?
Yes, this is the first book in the series where I, at last, meet my destiny.

I really enjoyed this book but I have to say the author is a bit cruel to leave me in suspense like that. Cliffhangers are not my fave.

My review: 5 stars

I am in love with this new world that Ms. Scott created. It has hot heroes, more than one, a heroine that kicks ass and asks questions later, which lands her in more than a pickle,  magic, suspense, mystery, adventure, slow burn intensity hints at scorching heat to come. The Three that we meet in this first book are so different, but compliment each other. One thing I didn’t expect is the not-quite-but-sort-of-cliffhanger ending, so not the author’s style. You are a cruel mistress, Ms. Scott, for leaving us and The Three hanging like that. I am giving it a 5-star despite that, because I know it will be worth the wait and this first book gave me enough to fuel my imagination until the next one releases.

Next book will be “Rogue Witch“, releasing February 15, 2021.
