Hello and welcome!
I am so excited for this new release! CONGRATS M. A. Abraham!
Continuing from where the Elven Chronicles left off. We bring you the ONE EMPIRE SERIES.
The Drazon is dead, and the Demons have been eradicated from the Elven Empire. Now the Elves can begin anew, and this is exactly what they are about to do. Their lands are scarred by the war, their original Kingdoms fragmented and their people are in need of healing as much as the world around them. The boundary has been raised, to separate the Elven Empire from the rest of the world, and they settle down to work.
The new era starts with the Elven Kingdoms uniting as the One Empire, Life Mates are found, relationships cemented, and peace reigns. There is no better time to rebuild their world, and raise a family. First, the men who took advantage of Gabriel and Eden’s spell must convince their Life Mates that what they did was not such a bad thing. That could take a while, especially for any Male Elf who is bonded to a Light Elven Female.
My fave scenes in all the Elven books are the bonding scenes… Here is the one from “Rising from the Ashes” by M.A. Abraham.
“Séreméla, from the moment I saw you, I knew you were meant to be mine. You became the center of my world, the light of my soul. I reach for what my heart cannot help but yearn for and my heart cannot function without. Séreméla, I am yours.”
“Séreméla’s eyes met Åndorin’s, as he spoke, and she sought the golden thread she knew she would find, the one that would bind them forever more. It shone brightly, and the strength it revealed was astonishing. This was not something she could ignore, not that she wanted to. She held his gaze with hers, as she spoke.
“Even when we were battling the enemy, I could feel your presence, the love you felt in your heart surrounded me, and the strength of who you are held me close. I cannot deny what my soul needs anymore than my body can stop breathing the air it needs to survive. Åndorin, I am yours,” Séreméla declared.
“Séreméla, you who are the blood of my heart, and the light of my soul, I will always hold your words close within my memory, for you are mine,” Åndorin promised.
“Åndorin, forever you are mine,” Séreméla answered.
They then spoke the final words of bonding, “Together, we are one.” As they finished, they sealed their vows with a kiss.”
MY REVIEW – 5 stars
Like the many Elfanatics out there, I was so happy the stories from the much loved Elven world were not over. After so many centuries of battle and struggles, the time for peace is here. But there is so much to do to restore the Empire and as in the past, the many kingdoms come together and work side by side to make sure it gets done.
Many of the characters we came to love are making their presence known, along with many new ones. There is laughter, there is heartache but there is also hope as many of the new Life Mate pairings make their way to where they can make their mark, like Séreméla and Åndorin who start a movement that spreads like wildfire and gets everybody mobilized and eager to help with what they can.
An exciting beginning into the new era of the Elven Empire. Looking forward to more.
I hope you give this new series a chance. I promise, you will not be sorry.
