Hello and welcome!
As promised I invited the hunks from the Scrolls of Cridhe and today is the first chat.
Please help me welcome Eoin.
Isn’t he just so handsome? mmmmm
by Brad Nguyen
What is your full name?
Eoin MacKay, Laird of Clan MacKay.
Love your name and it sounds different from what I envisioned when I read it.
Do you have a nickname?
Nay, lass, the one name is all I have.
I don’t know about you, but when a handsome Highlander calls me lass, I am ready to melt *sigh*
What is one word best describes you?
Driven.
Describe what you are wearing now to our readers.
Now, why in the name of all that’s holy would anyone care what I was wearing? he laughs
We, the readers care, we are a curious bunch.
I’m wearing a plaid over a léine which ye might call a tunic.
Do you think the author portrayed you accurately?
Aye, I suppose she did. She knows me a tad too well, that one.
What makes you laugh out loud?
Answering questions about what I am wearing.
His laugh makes me laugh out loud
What is your favourite drink?
I have always been partial to heather ale, but Ceci, wild lass that she is has mentioned lemon-drop martinis more than once. I have no clue what a martini is but I would like to try it someday.
I haven’t tried those either yet, maybe next time I can make some for us. I’ve seen quite a few recipes, I kind of like this one.
What is your greatest fear?
Losing the woman I love.
What do you wear when you go to sleep?
Here we go again. I think ye just ask me these things to make me laugh. If I’m sleeping in my own bed, I wear nothing.
When you look at a woman what catches your interest?
Her eyes. Ye can tell a lot more about someone from their eyes than their words.
I agree with you, eyes tell everything.
Is your book part of a series? What does the future hold for the readers of the series?
As I understand it, this wee story is the start of a new series for Ceci Giltenan. I think she sees a story in the future for Bram Sutherland and for my sister Anna. However, I refuse to think of a romance about my sister and if Ceci knows what’s good for her, she will leave that alone. Where Anna goes, trouble follows.
Oh, but I would love to read Anna’s story, she is such a happy bubble, she made me laugh.
Thank you Eoin for accepting my invitation and answering my ‘funny’ questions.
Well… Ceci told me I should come and I always listen to her, the same way she always listens to me he answers with a wink

I hope you enjoyed this chat, I sure did *sigh*
Eoin hails from “Highland Revenge” by awesome Ceci Giltenan.
Hatred lives and breathes between medieval clans who often don’t remember why feuds began in the shadowed past.
But Eoin MacKay remembers.
He will never forget how he was treated by Bhaltair MacNicol—the acting head of Clan MacNicol. He was lucky to escape alive, and vows to have revenge.
Years later, as laird of Clan MacKay, he gets his chance when he captures Lady Fiona MacNicol. His desire for revenge is strong but he is beguiled by his captive. Can he forget his stubborn hatred long enough to listen to the secret she has kept for so long? And once he knows the truth, can he show her she is not alone and forsaken? In the end, is he strong enough to fight the combined hostilities and age-old grudges that demand he give her up?
It is one of the stories in “HIGHLAND WINDS”, Volume 1 in The Scrolls of Cridhe. This wonderful anthology will be released on November 17, 2014.

Until tomorrow! Have a great day!
Laughing so hard! I’m only looking in to tell Eoin that he isn’t alone: his lady Ceci plies everyone with her lemon-drop martinis. Just a week or so ago, at dinner with Ceci, she made me, Suzan Tisdale, and Kathryn Lynn Davis, down these libations. ‘Course they are so good, I haven’t a clue how many we enjoyed! Needless to say, it was a fun night. 😉
I must try those Lemon Drop Martinis, sounds like you had fun 😀
Loved it as usual… I am so waiting for this series.
Thank you MA! XOXO

Thanks for highlighting the men of The Scrolls of Cridhe. I could nearly hear Eoin growl when you called Anna a “happy bubble”!
❤ Ceci
He did growl, Ceci! He is so protective of her even though she drives him mad sometimes LOL I am so looking forward to reading her story!

Hello Fran! This one is part of the anthology “Highland Winds”, volume 1 in The Scrolls of Cridhe. All of them are awesome stories.
You have to try the other books by Ceci. Remember I had Tadhg from “Highland Courage” for a chat? https://seelkfireice.wordpress.com/2014/07/17/my-chat-with-tadhg-yumyumyum/
Check out the books at B&N http://www.barnesandnoble.com/c/ceci-giltenan.
I Love that you’re highlighting the heroes. Great interview with Eoin. 🙂
Thank you Leah! I thought it is a bit more interesting to get a different view of the heroes than you would get from the book… and I am having so much fun with my book boyfriends. Glad you are enjoying it. There are 6 more Highlanders coming 😉 and more after that.
oh wow ,that was priceless .loved it
Happy you loved it! Thanks for dropping by Sharon! 🙂
Reblogged this on My Agent's Pajamas: Or writing makes strange bedfellows–KATHRYN LYNN DAVIS and commented:
My Guardian sister, Ceci Giltenan, sent her hero from Scrolls of Cridhe (Highland Revenge) to have a chat with Eniko Tolnai.
I’m glad you could get Eoin to laugh out loud. He’s such a charmer, that one, though a bit over-protective of his sister Anna. And Ceci’s books are always fantastic. Thanks for the chat, Eniko.
Glad you liked it Kathryn Lynn! It was my pleasure to have him over for a chat.

This interview was great!!! I could actually imagine him stating those exact words when he was asked those questions. I can’t wait to get a chance to read this volume if I win it and await the second one with bated breathe.
CONGRATS LADIES and thank you for the wonderful stories each and everyday all of you write!😊
Thank you Anne! Eoin was such a delight to chat with! Good luck in the contest!
Loved the interview!
Thank you Lisa! Thanks for dropping by!
Nice interview. Somehow the image of a braw Highlander with a lemon martini in his hand doesn’t quite work.
I know what you mean LOL but he is so much fun, I am sure he would to try, after all who can refuse Ceci 😉
